X-OM

Short stays in Tanzania

The reason for the trip becomes the stay.

Tell X-OM who is traveling, where, and why — in English or Swahili. It turns that into a real short stay, with the host’s nightly price and the full total before you pay with Payme.

HOW X-OM WORKS

An experience, then the stay that fits it.

Other sites start with a city. X-OM starts with the reason you are going. A hospital nearby. A weekend by the water. Family in town. Work for a few nights. That sentence is the search.

  1. 01

    Name the experience.

Who is coming, which place, which dates, and what the trip is for. Write it the way you would say it.

  2. 02

    It becomes a stay.

X-OM returns short stays a host has actually listed. The photograph, the area, and the nightly price belong to that listing.

  3. 03

    The price is settled first.

You see the nightly amount and the full total for your dates before anyone pays. Payme is the payment inside the app.

  4. 04

    Guest and host share it.

The booking is confirmed in X-OM. The host manages the same stay, the calendar, and the conversation there.

Prices are the nightly amounts hosts published. Dates and the full total are confirmed in the app. A neighbourhood photograph further down is a place, not one of these stays.

WHY X-OM

What has to be true before a stay feels right.

The reason comes first.

A city name is not the trip. The hospital, the beach, the family visit, or the work nights decide which stay fits.

The host owns the facts.

Photos, rooms, and the nightly price are what the host published. The search does not invent amenities, distance, or availability.

The total shows before Payme.

The nightly price is the start. The full total for the dates is on the booking screen before payment.

One door for both sides.

A guest can look with no account. A host creates an account and starts a listing from the same X-OM.

FOR GUESTS

Look first. Create an account when you are ready.

Browse as a guest and the catalogue opens with no sign-in. Create an account when you want to message a host or book. Sign in if you already have one.

Stone Town waterfront in Zanzibar

FOR HOSTS

Create the account, then start the listing.

The host area opens on account creation. After you are in, Start hosting is where the photos, the nightly price, and the stay details are added. You can list before identity verification. Verification is completed later, before a payout.

PLACES TO SEARCH

Start with a neighbourhood.

These photographs are places, not listings. Search them, then the live stays appear in the app.

FAQ

Before you arrive.

Do I need an account to look?+

No. Browse as a guest opens the catalogue. Create an account or sign in to book, message a host, or list a place.

What does “the reason becomes the stay” mean?+

You describe the trip — the people, the place, the dates, the purpose. X-OM uses that to show short stays that are listed, with the price taken from the host.

Can I search in Swahili?+

Yes. Write the place, the people, the dates, and the budget in English or Swahili.

How do I become a host?+

Choose Create a host account. Inside X-OM, Start hosting is where you add photos and the nightly price. Listing can begin before verification. Verification is required before a payout.

Why are three stays shown?+

Those are the listings live on X-OM today, in Hananasif and Upanga. The count at the top is the same catalogue. More appear when hosts publish them.
